Ford Warriors in Pink has brought the Wall of Reasons to Wynwood. Wall of Reason Razones Que Salvan Vidas is an interactive mural with the purpose of brining breast cancer awareness. 2014 marks Ford Motor Company’s 20th year in the fight against breast cancer.
One of the most interesting this about the project was that the viewer could write their own reason on the website http://www.razonesquesalvanvidas.com The artists which included Amanda Valdes, Yuhmi Collective, Surge, and myself would illustrate those reasons on the mural. It was also live streamed on their site.
Viewers were encouraged to share their reason, hashtag, and take photos of the reason that the related to the best. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, I hope that our illustrations helped save the lives of women and the fight against breast cancer a little easier.
